https://jurnalpendidikan.unisla.ac.id/index.php/SEAJ/article/view/681
This research aimed to describe needs of students’ Science learning resources with ecoliteracy at PGSD STKIP Al Hikmah Surabaya. Students, the majority of whom are young, have great potential to realize a more environmentally friendly Indonesia as stated in the Sustainable Development Goals. Research method that is used in this research was qualitative. Data collected by using questionnaires and interviews. Data analyzed descriptively. Research revealed that PGSD students have middle ecoliteracy . Science learning resource that is needed for students was the Science Education Book with Ecoliteracy . Through the development of Ecoliteracy -based Science Education Books, it is hoped that PGSD students will be able to become students who understand and are aware of environmental issues (ecoliterate), and can design learning activities for elementary students that can instill environmental care characters. The book consisted of information about ecoliteracy and teaching and learning in elementary school for enhancing students’ ecoliteracy. The book was also completed with youtube, instagram, and journal links as an additional information. This research aimed to describe needs of students’ Science learning resources with ecoliteracy at PGSD STKIP Al Hikmah Surabaya. https://jurnalpendidikan.unisla.ac.id/index.php/SEAJ/article/view/814
One of the main goals of going to school is to improve students' ability to think critically, so that they can make rational decisions about what to do or what to believe. Students at the junior high school (SMP) level are expected to be able to think deductively, analyze and synthesize, think reflectively and abstractly, and be able to solve various problems. The education system has a top priority, namely educating students to learn and think critically. One way to improve critical thinking skills is to use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model using the practicum method. This research was conducted to improve students' critical thinking skills in science subjects. The type of research carried out was classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning stages, implementation stages, and evaluation and reflection stages. The reflection results in cycle I will be improved in cycle II. The results of this study are that there is a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with the practicum method in class VII D SMP Negeri 1 Bagor academic year 2022/2023 by 48% of students who pass in cycle 1 and increased to 84% in cycle 2.Dika Isnaini FahmaIka KrisdianaEny Trianawati

https://jurnalpendidikan.unisla.ac.id/index.php/SEAJ/article/view/813
21st century learning does not only focus on learning outcomes but also emphasizes the 4C skills. One of the 4C skills that must be mastered by students is communication skills. Communication skills can be trained and developed through the application of a project-based learning model ( PjBL). PjBL is one of the learning models which is the main program of choice in an independent curriculum that can bridge the development of student’s communication skills. Good communication skills affect mastery of the material and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the project based learning model in improving communication skills and science learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the first cycle of reflection were analyzed, then in revision to improve learning in cycle II. The research design uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The results showed that student’s communication skills increased from 60% (enough) in Cycle I to 75% (good) in Cycle II. In addition, the mastery of student learning outcomes also increased from Cycle I by 60% to 84% in Cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that communication skills and science learning outcomes for class VII-E students of SMPN 6 Madiun can be improved by applying a project-based learning model.Alif Nur HasanahPurwandari PurwandariMarsiti Marsiti

https://jurnalpendidikan.unisla.ac.id/index.php/SEAJ/article/view/758
Conceptual understanding of physics is one of the important factors to improve the quality of learning physics. However, several studies have shown that student’s conceptual understanding is low, especially in static fluid material. Several studies have attempted to use recitation programs and have succeeded in increasing understanding of the concept. Student's conceptual understanding can be improved through independent learning. Independent learning can use recitation programs, but not many available static fluid recitation programs are equipped with concept explanations and do not yet cover students who study in a formal and boarding school system, such as boarding school students. Existing recitation programs are widely used by students to support independent learning. Recitation of students is still rare because of the lack of independent learning. Therefore, this study aims to improve boarding school student’s conceptual understanding in static fluid material through recitation program. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental and one group pretest-posttest design. The recitation program is given in the form of an interesting computer-assisted animation outside of learning. The subjects of this study were 40 students of class XI Natural Science 1 at the SMA International Islamic Boarding School Ar-Rohmah Dau, Malang. The research instruments included valid recitation programs and pretest-posttest questions. Data obtained from the results of the conceptual understanding test supported by interviews. The results showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of the concept which was calculated through an N-gain of 0.45 in the medium category and an effect-size of 1.68 in the strong category. The findings of this study imply that the recitation program can improve student's understanding of concepts like previous research, and practically that teachers can utilize the recitation program as student learning material.Alifiyah Nindi MaghfirohFebi Dwi PutriEndang PurwaningsihMuhammad Reyza Arief Taqwa

https://jurnalpendidikan.unisla.ac.id/index.php/SEAJ/article/view/895
One of skills used as the basic of high order thinking skills is scientific literacy ability. This ability is evaluated by OECD in PISA program follow by students aged 15 years old from various countries. Therefore, this article is amied to compare scientific literacy ability of middle and high school students aged 15 years old on a limited scale. Scientific literacy ability has 4 indicators which are nominal literacy, functional literacy, conceptual/procedural literacy, and multi-dimensional literacy. The data were gained from the comparison between 25 students grade IX SMP Negeri 7 Jember and 25 students grade X SMA Negeri 2 Situbondo. The data were analyzed using Kruskal Wallis with SPSS program. The result showed that 3 among 4 indicators of scientific literacy test of middle and high school students aged 15 years old had sig >0.05, which means there is no significant difference. Those 3 indicators are nominal literacy (0.204), functional literacy (0.107), and conceptual/procedural literacy (0.154). Meanwhile, for multi-dimensional literacy showed sig 0.04 or <0.05, hence it can be concluded that there is significant difference of multi-dimensional literacy ability between middle and high school students aged 15 years old.Aulya Nanda PrafitasariRestasa Britan Pradhana
