About the Journal

Reforma: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran is an international, peer-reviewed journal published by Universitas Islam Lamongan since 2018, with E-ISSN: 2621-4172 and P-ISSN: 2503-1228. The journal serves as a premier platform for disseminating cutting-edge research on pedagogical reforms, curriculum design, and instructional strategies. It is published biannually, in June and December.

Reforma is committed to becoming a reputable international journal by publishing innovative and transformative practices in education. The journal aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, serving as a vital reference for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers addressing global educational challenges. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by qualified experts in the field. To maintain its international standing, Reforma exclusively accepts manuscripts written in English that meet high editorial and academic standards.

Scope:
The journal invites original research and theoretical papers covering, but not limited to, the following areas: Pedagogical Innovation, Curriculum Development, Instructional Strategies, Competency-Based Assessment, Teacher Professional Development, Educational Technology (EdTech), Artificial Intelligence in Education, Digital Learning Environments, Inclusive Education Models, Policy Analysis, Sustainable Educational Systems, 21st-Century Learning, Interdisciplinary Approaches, Non-Formal Education Contexts, and Educational Leadership.

Before Submission:
Please ensure that your paper is prepared according to the Reforma Paper Template, has been thoroughly proofread and polished, and adheres strictly to the author guidelines. Authors who wish to submit their manuscript to this journal must adhere to the writing guidelines. Manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines or are written in an incorrect format will BE REJECTED at the initial stage by the editors before further review. The editors will only accept manuscripts that meet the prescribed format and scope.

Information on Plagiarism:
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. We strongly recommend that authors screen their manuscript's similarity index before submitting it to our journal to ensure the article is original. Every manuscript submitted to Reforma: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran is checked using Turnitin, a plagiarism detection software. If the manuscript shows a similarity index higher than 30%, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision or rejected immediately.

Reminder for all authors:
To ensure high-quality publication standards, you are expected to submit papers that:

  1. Are original and have not been submitted to, or published in, any other publication.
  2. Include at least 25 references, with 80% derived from reputable scientific journals.
  3. Cite references published within the last 5 to 7 years to ensure currency of the research.
  4. Strictly follow the template specified by Reforma: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran.
  5. Use a reference manager (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) when managing citations and bibliographies.
